KARSANG SHERPA, Senior Vice President

Prior to joining Caldera, Mr. Sherpa worked as an Acquisitions Associate at Dividend Capital Total Realty Trust, where he acquired $650 million in assets in primary and secondary markets throughout the United States. His responsibilities included conducting initial underwriting, contract negotiations, due diligence, closing of acquisitions, market research and tenant credit analysis. He was also responsible for underwriting debt investments including senior, mezzanine and construction loans.

Prior to joining Dividend Capital, Mr. Sherpa worked at Legg Mason Real Estate Services where he managed 2.9 million square feet of industrial, mixed-use, lodging and multifamily assets.  Additionally, he oversaw disposition of lodging, industrial, and land properties; and also managed development of industrial and multifamily properties.

Mr. Sherpa holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from Cambridge University in England.  He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
